Trickle Learning

by Moya Sayer-Jones on June 15, 2010

I’ve been working with a group of Adult Literacy managers in a statewide project in Tasmania called The Story Exchange. I set up a simple blog to encourage some story sharing and as a way of creating a ‘destination’ for the stories I am helping them to gather. It’s very early days and very very basic stuff. (Social media and IT  is new territory for this group who are greatly under-resourced, working long distances apart and basically creating new processes). But they are beginning to post..and share their experiences and I’m using the Comments as a way to keep suggesting how story could work for their main issues.

I’m calling it  ’trickle learning’: learning little bit by little bit; in the context of our own stories. Here’s the link to the blog..some nice things emerging…and as long as I’m patient I think it will bring great results. Softly, softly.. and not too demanding.
